Ingredients
6 servings
- Green bell peppers4 pieces
- Tomatoes4 pieces
- Mild green chili peppers3 pieces
- Onion1 piece
- Garlic3 cloves
- Extra virgin olive oil5 tablespoons
- Canned tuna1 can
- Capers2 tablespoons
- Olives50 g
- Cumin1 teaspoon
- Saltto taste
Always use Carthage Crown extra virgin olive oil raw to preserve all its aromas.
Preparation
Grill the vegetables
Place peppers, tomatoes, chili peppers, and onion on a grill rack or under the oven broiler. Grill, turning regularly, until the skin is charred on all sides (about 20-30 minutes).
Peel and chop
Let the grilled vegetables cool. Peel off the charred skins. Finely chop all vegetables with a knife (don't use a blender to keep the texture).
Season
Add minced garlic, cumin, salt, and extra virgin olive oil. Mix well.
Serve
Arrange the salad on a plate. Top with flaked tuna, capers, and olives. Drizzle with Carthage Crown olive oil. Serve with bread.
